A Note from our Director: Taos Community Foundation staff shifted our focus this past week from emergency response to our "regular programming" that is always in high-activity mode in the spring. Just as we were faced with our stay-at-home orders, we had grant and scholarship application cycles in mid-stream. In honor of both the dedicated nonprofit leaders and student applicants who managed to submit applications in the midst of uncertainty and upheaval, we focused this past week on getting this important community work completed. A special thank you goes out to all of our committee advisors who assisted with the review and deliberation tasks needed to move our Impact Taos 2020 and scholarship work forward. With our continued commitment to lessen the administrative demands to new grantees, all of our spring grants will be for Core Support. We trust our nonprofit directors that community grant resources will be utilized to continue their great work. Foundation staff will be focused on COVID-19 response efforts this week!
