Taos Municipal Schools is working diligently to continue keeping all our students, staff and community safe. Parent's Please... Keep your student home if il. If someone in your home has COVID or is symptomatic and waiting for COVID test results, keep your child home or if your student has been exposed to someone who has COVID, keep them home. Please notify your school of any positive COVID cases. Someone from your school will provide you with the next steps for quarantine time and when they can return to school. Each case is different and the time for return may not be the 10 days from the time you are notified of a positive result. If a student is vaccinated and exposed, they do not need to quarantine unless they become symptomatic Always wear a mask and wash your hands at school Send your child with a mask every day. If you know your student may need another one, send your child an extra mask. Talk with your student about social distancing and washing their hands regularly at school. Get tested/get vaccinated If you or someone in your home has COVID symptoms, go get tested. Notify your school immediately, if someone in your home tested positive. Your school keeps the COVID status of students, parents, family members, and staff confidential. If you and your student is eligible for a vaccine, please consider getting vaccinated to your child safe.
