NOW ACCEPTING ONLINE DONATIONS AT TAOSFIRE.ORG TAOS VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT 323 Camino de la placita TAOS, NIM On Friday October 7 2022, members of Taos Volunteer Fire Department will be out for our Annual Fire Drive. For the past 89 years TVFD has had many men and women take the responsibility of serving our community. Your contributions have helped us stand out as one of the premier Fire Departments in the state. The generous individuals and businesses in Taos and the surrounding areas who contribute annually, make it possible for our department to grow and thrive Your genous contributions have assisted TVFD to purchase new Personal Protective Equipment to provide protection for various types of emergencies. We have also been able to purchase equipment and tools, that are used to provide Fire protection within the community we serve With your support we can send new volunteers to train in Fire protection. We have also been able to send members of TVFD to continue their training in new firefighting techniques, fire prevention, and technical rescue. These trainings have provided us with in house instructors to teach various Fire classes In 2022 TVFD has been able to acquire a new first out fire engine and a medical rescue truck Beth apparaties will be put into service later this year. With your support and donations, we are working on purchasing the necessary equipment for these apparatuses. We will be working with a company for the restoration of "Maria" which is a 1935 American Le France (Engine 1 It remains our pledge to our community to provide the very best fire protection possible. We will continue to grow, train, and improve to meet the ever-changing needs of our citizens.
