UNM-Taos has shown amazing leadership during this epidemic. I have received everything from phone calls to emails from the staff and faculty making sure I was okay, and always asking if I needed help. I noticed the most leadership when it came to my professors adapting their classes to help their students succeed. My math 1215 professor even took the time to set up private Zoom sessions so I could get the extra support I needed. I cannot stress how grateful I am for UNM-Taos not closing during all of this. The fact that they chose to convert everything to online learning within a week shows their leadership skills. Because they stayed open, I have been given extra time to focus on school and achieve the grades I want. Though this semester has been rough and different, with the support of UNM-Taos I was able to get THANK YOU straight A's in all of my classes this semester.
