Taos was mounting a comeback in the fourth quarter in which they trailed the Lady Dons by 13 points and came within three points of West Las Vegas. While in the double bonus Flores faced a pair of free throws with both teams standing by at half court and the whole stadium roaring. When the crowd went silent Flores found the composure to follow through and swish the two shots at the charity stripe and bring it to within a single point. The Lady Dons still held on to victory after a missed Taos field goal attempt at the rim.
