Free case manage- ment and other resources are offered to Before staying at HEART House, I was in an abusive situation, had my identity stolen, was dealing with the aftermath of a bad car accident, and had a new baby. I had two choices, 1) be on the street with my 9 month old son or 2) live in an abusive environment. The vehide I'm borrowing had wires sticking out of the tires, so it was very dangerous getting around. I was unable to do my online marketing work for all house guests to support their long-term stabilization. Join us in ending homeless- ness for the women of Taos County by joining TeamHEART - monthly donations of any amount every month or a one-time contribution! income. HEART House provided my son and I with a safe and warm place to stay and helped me sign up for housing. HEART provides WIFI access to its guests, so l was able to work immediately! Someone donated tires so l'm able to make appointments and do things to care for myself and my son to become independent again. Ihave hope. My son is flourishing. I was afraid to be on my own but this place has given me confidence in my abilities, while helping me face my fears. This place has a heart and that heart is beating, in everyone that makes this place possible.
