Peoples Bank was charted back in 1871 in Ottawa, KS.  Wint Winter, Sr. purchased that small Ottawa bank in 1974 and planted the seeds for a totally new concept in banking.  Today, Peoples Bank remains family owned and operated by the Winter Family.  And that small bank in Ottawa?  It has grown to include 35 banking locations across nine states.

Since we’ve been around for over 140 years, we’ve built up quite a history! We went through our historical archives and picked out some items to highlight our rich and proud history. We hope you enjoy!
