Lynn McLain traces his artist's passion back to his childhood. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Architecture from Texas Tech in 1971, and has been painting and teaching watercolor professionally since 1978. He is a signature member of the American Watercolor Society, the National Watercolor Society, past president and signature member of the Southwestern Watercolor Society, past president and signature member of the New Mexico Watercolor Society, and present member of the Taos National Society of Watercolorists. Lynn founded and remains active in the Wet Brush Critique Group, which consists of 18 dedicated watercolor artists in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area.
