LA MERCED DE CRISTOBAL DE LA SERNA/ OFFICIAL ELECTION PROCLAMATION Pursuant to the Land Grant General Provisions Section 49-1-5 NMSA 1978, an election of the La Merced De Cristobal de la Serna for members to the board of trustees shall be held on Au- gust 27, 2022. The purpose of the election shall be to elect 5 members to the board of trustees. Terms of ser- vice for each elected position shall be 4 or 2 years, to be determined by a lot after the election. The polling location for the election will be the Talpa Community Center located #14 Archuleta Rd. Polls shall be opened for voting at 10:00 AM and shall close at 2:00 PM. All Declarations of Candidacy shall be filed with the Board of Trustees by 5:00 PM on August 12, 2022. Qualified voting members interested in declaring candidacy may obtain a candidate declaration form by contacting Beverly Armijo at (575) 224-5315 or David Romero at (575) 613-0215. All registered qualified voting members must be current on their dues by 5:00 PM on August 12, 2022 in order to vote at the August 27, 2022 election.
