Florence Miera for State Representative MISSION The primary mission of government is the welfare and safety of its citizens. Ás a social worker it is important to enhance human wellbeing and to help meet the basic human needs of all people. VISION To empower House District 42 to support all people; understanding the dignity, worth and value of each person. To create a community that values human relationships and strengthens and unifies its people. PLAN My plan is to continue meeting with all of District 42 to identify the problems surrounding Taos County; with attention given to historic past and intergenerational patters of trauma. To create a catalyst for change by identifying leaders who care about the welfare of its citizens; focusing on the youth, the elderly and addressing the current housing shortage. To lead by example by conducting transformation tables with town and county leaders, business owners, government, non-profits and its people creating a tool to improve the life of all its citizens with respect to historic culture and traditions.
