It is more like buying a stock than making a deposit. That is why credit union’s refer to the returns you earn on your accounts as dividends instead of interest.
The Questa Credit Union has been in existence since 1959 and is a state chartered credit union that is federally insured up to $250,000.00 by NCUA (National Credit Union Administration), a federal agency similar to the FDIC.
