We are a family owned and operated business. We opened our first store in Taos, NM in 1984. We decided it would be a good idea to sell curios from Mexico. At that time there was nothing like this to be seen in Taos. As our clientele grew and customers requested items we did not have we started to search for different items that the people wanted and we started adding more variety to our inventory. Then in 1987 we opened in Colorado Springs, Co. for the same reason. We opened our newest location in 2001 in Velarde, NM. It is a beautiful valley known for its apple orchards and cherries in June.
Our three locations have a large selection of inventory. We specialize in Mexican Rustic Furniture, Tin Mirrors, Tin Switch Covers, Talavera planters, dishes, sun faces etc. Mexican Glassware, Zapotec Indian Rugs, Ironwood, Sarapes, Blankets. We also carry pottery Made In New Mexico from our local Pueblos. Navajo and Acoma Native American Art. Southwest Style jewelry. And so much more.
