A special satellite exhibit "Shimmering Aspens and the Taos Landscape" at The Plein Air Painters of New Mexico (PAPNM) will be painting in Taos and around the Enchanted Circle (a scenic loop through the country- side cities around Taos) from September 20-23, 2021. Paintings exhibited will honor the spirit of the historic studios of the artists who helped build our great Northern New Mexico art colony. Plein air painting is the practice of paint- ing on location directly from nature and is a challenging approach to capturing the beauty the Blumenschein Museum 222 Ledoux Street. Both exhibitions on display Sept. 25 - Oct. 12, 2021. The community is welcome to meet and chat with the members of the Plein Air of the out of doors. Painters while they paint.
